monday night weigh in night

Yipee, i lost 2 and a half pounds tonight!!!!!!!
I am over the moon!!!!
I have been really good this week, so was hoping for a bit more, but even so i am happy
its going off and not on, it will carry on that way

Friday, weekend starts now, and i won't fail

Today is Friday, i have done some shopping(food wise) and got loads of lovely stuff for the weekend, slimming world style of course, tonight we are having pork chops with paprika wedges and roasted vegs and salad, followed by creamy chocolate mousse, which i had last night for the first time!!!!!!! and it was GORGEOUS!!!!
So filling and like a none slimming pudding, you could serve it any day of the week and no one would have a clue that the whole dessert was 2 sins!!!!!!!!!! (thats for the 4 portions) half a sin a portion!!!!!!!!!!
it will definately be one of my faves from now on

thursday, got into planning

Well today is Thursday, and I am having a SUPER week!!!!
Lots of planning and preparing means I haven't been a single bit hungry, I have had loads of variety, and its bloody brilliant, absolutely loving it.
Last night we went to visit a friend who is waiting for a transplant, and is going through the mill, her partner of 29 years has left her, and she is devastated, so we didn't get in until 10pm,now in the past I would have ended up in maccys or KFC on the way home, or ringing fir a takeaway, instead I got in and cooked, the oher half had grilled lamb chops, I had a pork chop, we had it with roasted peppers,onions,tomatoes and mushrooms and I did a pan of new potatoes, with it being late we only had a couple of potatoes, the rest I put in a roasting tin, with frylite sprinkled with paprika, and today have them mixed with lettuce,spring onion and peppers with 28g grilled halloumi cheese and 2 chopped up rashers of bacon(cooked of course)
So for breakfast I had a change from my usual beans on toast and had a slice of wholemeal toast and 3 rashers of bacon, all the fat removed, (bacon free, toast 3 sins (I slice nimble) then for my 12 o'clock break I had my b choice a bag of Ryvita minis, at 2.30 I will  have my lunch, I also have been drinking alot more water, and I think that helped

wednesday

Well this week should be a fab loss, that's my aim, I am really enjoying this week, last night we had our tea made in the slow cooker, I call it the 'one pot', chicken breasts,carrots,onions,peppers ,potatoes,mushrooms, a couple of stock cubes crumbled in, then when I get home I thicken it with a sprinkle of gravy granules, (Sins) and its really tasty and filling, today I've had a slice of wholemeal toast with beans for breakfast, for I i had savoury rice, chicken,peppers,onions mixed in, with beetroot, and natural (fat free) yoghurt  with some slices of pineapple, and I have a bag of quavers for  my break, tonight we are having lamb chops lots of veg and potatoe wedges (pototoes cut into wedges, boiled fir 10 mins, then cooked in the oven sprayed with fry lite) so having lots of yummy fresh food and still loving it

weigh in!!!!!!!!!

i lost a pound and a half!!!!!!!! boooooo
I really wanted 3 pound this week, the fact i have been ill, and had medicine and lockets etc hasn't helped, but at least its better than going on.
Off to bed feel rubbish with this cold and bad throat, see what next week brings

2nd weigh in today

I have been soooo good this week, and my scales are saying I've stayed the same, if I have I will be mad, this week I have stuck to it, bob on, no cheating, weighed and measured everything I should, so we will see what happens tonight, I made a fudge cake last night, scan bran variety of course, it was ok, lots more recipes to try this week

lots of cooking(trifle recipe,quiche recipe)

today i have done lots of cooking!!!!

i made a slimming world quiche (free on extra easy)

which was a 250 g pot of cottage cheese,
3 beaten eggs
chopped cooked bacon
lots of roasted veg (spring onion, peppers, tomatoes,mushrooms)
mix it all together, season and i then cooked mine in a ceramic dish in the oven for 25-30 mins until golden


then i made some trifles

i chopped strawberries
put them in 4 sundae glasses
i then used a sachet of sugar free jellie, made upto a pint (but only used half a pint)(half a sin per trifle)
then put in fridge to set
then i added custard,(low fat ready made) i used 4 tablespoons per sundae dish (2 sins) or you can just use 2 tablespoons (1 sin)
i then topped with aerosol cream 2 tablespoons is half a sin

so in total using 4 tablespoons of custard a trifle is 3 sins, using 2 tablespoons of custard is 2 sins

the weekend had landed

I love the weekends, but it is the time i sometimes want to eat what i shouldn't, but this weekend i am prepared!!!!

last night i made some scan bran ferrero rochers, and today i am making the quiche i spoke about yesterday, i am not a quiche fan, but my other half is, so i may have to find something else i like, but i have just seen a recipe for potatoe and onion fry its!, andf they sound yum, just my cup of tea, so i am going to make some of them later, and have a read through my mags for recipe ideas, i have pork chops in the fridge, and will be having them for tea, but not sure what to do with them to jazz them up!!!
my other half went swimming with his bro on Thursday night, and i can't wait until i can go again, i need to drop a couple of sizes then i will, i use to go 3 times a week and do 50 ish lengths, back when i was 15,16, and i wasn't fat then,if i knew then what i know now then i would have done something to have not gotten to this point, but i love swimming and i will get back into it, thats my aim.

well i am off to do my fitness dvd now (well its not a dvd its what i recorded of the fitness channel on sky)
and do some cleaning and tidying

fantastic friday

Had a right good chat with my consultant last night, so things are definately clear in my head, which is fab!
Today is a great day slimming wise, had a banana, Apple and Orange for breakfast, and had a bag of quavers for sins on my morning break, for my lunch I have rice with chopped up carrot,pepper and onion in, with some chicken, with a mullerlight yog,banana and Apple, tonight for tea its free slimming world curry and rice, one of my fave dishes!!!
Last I i was shown how to make SW quiche,just cottage cheese,eggs and lots of diff roasted beg, all mixed together, and cooked in a loose bottomed tin, can't wait to try it, as I do not like cottage cheese but I'm told that its ok in a quiche, so will give it a go, yum yum.
And lots of dog walking over the weekend, and leafleting on sunday

thirtsy thursday

Well hello Thursday, I am still doing good, went for a carvery for my father in laws birthday last night, lots of lean roast beef, and veggies, I put 3 roasties on my plate but didn't eat them, I had a small Yorkshire pudding instead, id rather have that for my sins, and I didn't have any desert, I didn't need to, I was very full, so it was a good day.
Now today my mind is good, but I rushed out of the house and forgot my lunch, so it will be an adventure in the canteen later to see what's available!!
Upto now I have had 1 slice of wholemeal toast,1 slice of bacon all fat removed, with beans, and a banana. I am hoping a jacket potatoe is available at lunch, fingers crossed, then tonight its chicken and beg stir fry with noodles, yum yum, can't wait!!!!

midweek going great guns

Well yesterday I had a fab day,I defo want the 3lb off this week, and I know if I get it in my head then I will.
Yesterday I had cereal (using my b choice and a choice for milk) a banana and an Apple
For lunch I had rice, seasoned, with onion,peppers and carrot, and had a chopped up chicken breast mixed it all up and it was lovely, very filling, definately the way forward for a lunch for work.
My morning break at work I had a hi fi bar,and my afternoon break a bag of Ryvita minis.
Then for tea last night I had done a casserole in the slow cooker, whick was chicken,onions,carrots,mushrooms and potatoes, cooked in chicken stock, then thickened at the end with gravy granules, followed by a Mullerlight,banana and small bunch of grapes.
So it was a good daylots of fruit and veg, more than I am use to eating, but its the way forward, so lots more this week

first week weigh in done!!!

Well 1st week weigh in at new group done, I thought I'd had a good week and I only lost a pound!!! Gutted!!
I have pledged 3 pound next week, so this week I will have to try harder, and get my head around the 3rd of your plate/day as super free food, I will do it!!!!
I am determined.

Tonight will be my first weigh in at my new group,I can't wait!!!
I better have lost something, I have tried really hard, done lots of walking, and lots of slimming world recipes have been used, had lots of tasty stuff,it doesn't feel like I am on a diet, but I don't actually like calling it a diet, I need to find another word, I will have a think and be back later after weigh in! Wish me luck.

its the weekend

Saturday has arrived, I had a good day yesterday, once I'd got my leg sorted again!!!
Today I am making a sin free slimming world curry, and done some more walking, even in the miserable drizzly weather.
And if anyone is thinking of getting some sin free sausages from hartshill butchers then do!!! They are scrummy!!!!

thursday the 3rd

Well today I woke up and was a tad I'll from last nights Chinese, it didn't agree with me somehow, so I feel a bit iffy today.
Plus I have to go the hospital to have my leg looked at after the dog biting incident, its very sore, and a bit gooey now!!
But diet wise it isn't going to stop me, I may not eat as much today, but I will eat what I should.
To keep me occupied when I want to be naughty I have my slimming world Ferrero rocher,I also found out an old school friend is doing the same diet, so hopefully we can swap hints and tips!!
Will update you later on what I have eaten today.

wednesday night

So tonight I went to my friend Katys house and a Chinese takeaway was already planned, I chose chicken in a chilli sauce, rice, and salt and pepper chips were ordered so I did have a couple to taste,so I didn't do to bad, no prawn crackers, not a portion of chips to myself etc etc.
So all in all I am happy with that, I saved sins yesterday,some today and some tomorrow so it is covered, did half an hour walk again, and ready for an ace day tomorrow, night night

wednesday,well prepared

Well today I have come to work well prepared,had fruit and Muller yog for breakfast,and I am grazing on a bag of Ryvita minis, chilli flavour,which are surprisingly nice considering I don't like Ryvita.
I also have 3 slimming world Ferrero Rodgers, which I made last night, I think I need to have another go at them as these ones haven't stuck together, but they still taste good.
Tonight I am going to a friends house for Chinese, it was planned last week before I joined class, but I will be good, boiled rice NO chips,and will search the slimming world website for the lowest sin value takeaway possible!!!! But I did save sins yesterday,and I will again tomorrow so I don't have to ruin my first week!
I also have the docs today for a tetanus jab after being bit by next doors dog!!! And its very sore!!!!
But its all still good on the slimming front, I am tempted to weigh myself on my scales at home, but I will wait until class next Monday, I can't wait!!!

day one!!

Today has been a fab day, had lots of healthy food, do not feel hungry and have done a fabulous shop, so have plenty of food to use to keep on plan, have just made some slimming world mouse/jelly desserts, and i am going to make some ferrero rocher "Slimming world" style, i cannot wait for Monday!!!
i also had a half an hour walk, and a half an hour workout to a dvd, i can do that at home and look a stupid as i like and no one can see me!!! hahaha

this time i will do it

Well, where do i start?
I have tried many diets before, and this time I WILL DO IT!!!!!
There has always been some other reason to not do it, my other half being ill (he has had 2 transplants), work being manic and busy, etc etc, i have tried and failed, this time I will NOT fail!!!!!
I have made it my goal in 2011 to do this, i joined a slimming group the week between xmas and new year, i couldnt stay for the meetings and had no support from the consultant so i decided i needed to join a different one my sister in law Louise  (might as well be, we have been with the boys 10 and 8 years but just not got round to marrying them!!!) had recently started a new group not too far from where i live, i always said i fancied going, but dreaded getting on the scales in front of a family member, but in a way it will keep me going, i cannot fail when i have let someone i know see my weight, so i had to bite the bullet and go, i knoew it was the way forward for me, and it would keep me on track.
So last night i joined, bought a countdown and have all the food etc in my cupboards ready to do it, i have a lot to do it for, i want to go in a shop and chose the clothes i want to wear because i like them, not because they fit, i know it will be a long road as i have alot to lose, but i will get there this time, there is something different and i cannot put my finger on what it is, but something is, and i will do this for myself, no one else, for me, so watch this space!!!!!
